Home Decorators - wrong color sette delivered - TWICE - Hanover Settee


Just dumbfounded at the service and product levels. It%u2019s our first time shopping with Home Decorators. After weeks of trying to nail down the seat height of the Hanover Settee, we finally purchased one and then waited twice as long we were originally quoted for it to be delivered. Unfortunately, we were sent the wrong color. We asked to keep the wrong one until a new one could be delivered, as we were out seating in the dining room. The customer service rep mentioned they ensured we were getting the correct color set this time. The new one was delivered today and the old one picked up. We cracked the box on the new one only to find IT IS THE WRONG COLOR AGAIN. After half an hour on the phone, we are left with unacceptable solutions. 1. We can keep the current one for half off, or 2. Return the current one, wait two weeks while they complete a quality check and then call %u201Cafter a while%u201D to see if I can place another order (they can%u2019t guarantee when they will complete the quality check and no orders can be placed during that time ? ), and then wait the 10-14 days for a new one to be delivered. We have wasted two days home from work and 6 weeks to have wrong items delivered - the same time we could have spent to have a custom item built and delivered from a number of other retailers. We will have to spend another day at home for the pickup of the wrong color again. At this point your customer service should be doing their best to find me one of the correct items to ship immediately while beginning your quality check.
